i4C / CAPS Ontario “School of Cool” Giveaway

Eligibility:
The contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry (proof of age will be required from the winner.) No purchase is necessary to enter. Void in any jurisdiction where prohibited by law.

Contest Period:
The contest begins on June 11, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM EDT on June 25, 2026. Entries submitted outside this time frame will not be considered.

How to Enter:
To enter the contest, you must:

  1. Like the contest post on @coolchardonnay or @caps.ontario’s Instagram feed. (“Liking” means tapping the heart icon on the contest post (look for the image shown below). “Following” means having an active profile that is following both @coolchardonnay and @caps.ontario at the time of prize drawing.)

Contest Post:

  1. Follow @coolchardonnay and @caps.ontario on Instagram.
  2. In the comments, tag your friends who should know about the School of Cool. (Must be a valid Instagram account. Each account tagged should be in a separate comment and constitutes an entry.)
  3. If you are a CAPS Ontario member and mention it in your comment, you’ll receive one bonus entry. (The CAPS membership list will be considered the final authority if a bonus entry is selected as the winner.)

Prize:
One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries and will receive:
• One (1) ticket to The School of Cool on July 16, 2026, as part of the i4C 2026 weekend (approximate retail value: $236.14). The ticket includes: keynote address, three (3) industry sessions with tastings, coffee break, full lunch and Walk-Around Tasting. The full day is 8:30am-6:00pm. • Prize is non-transferable and has no cash value. Travel and accommodations are not included.

Winner Selection and Notification:
• The winner will be randomly selected on June 26, 2026 and announced on @coolchardonnay and @caps.ontario on or before June 29, 2026.
• The winner will be contacted via Instagram direct message from the official @coolchardonnay account.
• If the selected winner does not respond within 48 hours, they will forfeit the prize and a new winner will be selected.

Entry Conditions:
By entering, you:
• Grant the International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration (i4C) and the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers (CAPS/ACSP) the right to share your name and Instagram handle across their digital channels, website and newsletter.
• Agree to be contacted by i4C for contest-related communications.

• The contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
• By entering, you release Instagram of all responsibility and agree to Instagram’s terms of use.
• The i4C reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these rules or is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or fraudulent.
