‘Tis the season for cool climate wines

The International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration, or i4C, returns to Niagara-on-the-Lake July 16–19 for another long summer weekend devoted to this compelling grape and the regions that do it best. The event unfolds across three marquee programs. Thursday’s School of Cool and Walkaround Tasting at White Oaks Conference Resort is built for winelovers, sommeliers, winemakers, and hospitality-industry insiders who want to go deep. Friday Night Flights moves the party to the local airport hangar for high-energy tasting with a social edge. Saturday’s Chardonnay in the Vineyard World Tour Tasting & Dinner at Peller Estates brings it together with a multi-course farm-to-table dinner from top Niagara chefs, plus the chance to taste across the full participating winery lineup. Woven throughout the weekend is Explore Wine Country Ontario, which opens winery doors region-wide for guests who want to spend more time with the people and places behind the scenes.

Christa outlines the highlights of all three of our Signature events here.
